The purchase of eCommerce products at Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters online store is subject to the following general terms and conditions:

 

1. Purpose

1.1: These terms and conditions govern the terms and conditions of the use of the services provided on the Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters online shop and relate to the order form and all other items referred to herein.
1.2: The purchase of any product in the online store of Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters implies the acceptance of the present General Conditions of online sales.
1.3: The access to the Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters online store is free and does not require prior subscription or user registration.

 

2. Product, Price and Content Information

2.1: Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters reserves the right to modify, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offer presented of: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.
2.2: The images that illustrate each product of Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters may differ slightly from the product subsequently delivered.
2.3: The items for sale at the Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters online store are subject to the existing green coffee stock. Orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a temporary or permanent stock shortage of green coffee, the customer will be duly notified and an alternative of products with comparable characteristics will be proposed. 
2.4: In accordance with Portuguese law, the product prices are stated in Euros (€) and include the statutory value added tax as well as the costs for packaging. The costs of transport for the customer are not included (see point 4.).

 

3. Order and Payment

3.1: To make a purchase at the online store of Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters, the user can choose whether to create an account or not. Therefore, it is not necessary to register as a customer. But in any case, all the steps described in the process must be followed in order to complete the order successfully.
3.2: During the ordering process at the online store of Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters, the customers must select the payment method they want from the available options. Any order placed will only be processed after payment is received. The formalization of the order alone does not constitute a reservation of the products.
3.3: Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters accepts the payment methods Paypal, Amazon Pay and, through its partner Easypay, also Multibanco, MB Way, VISA and Mastercard. The payment conditions of these suppliers apply in each case.

3.4: After confirming the order at the Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters online store, an email or SMS will be sent to the contact information specified by the customer at the time of formalization, with details on delivery, billing and payment information. If the customer does not receive the order confirmation, they are requested to contact Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters via email <contact form see contact>.
3.5: Changes to the conditions of orders not yet shipped or the cancellation of an order not yet shipped can be made on request via email or mobile phone <contact information see contact>. 
3.6: Orders placed by users from countries outside the European Union do not normally have to be validated in advance. Should questions nevertheless arise (e.g. about shipping or VAT), we will contact the user as soon as possible. 
3.7: Orders will only be sent after stock and payment confirmation and will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
3.8: If an order cannot be fulfilled in part or in full, the customer will be contacted immediately by Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters.
3.9: Payments are received in Euros, regardless of the currency in which the transaction is made. Conversion rates for payments made in other currencies must be borne by the customer.

4. Shipping costs

4.1: Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters ships and delivers within and outside Portugal by default via CTT - Correios de Portugal and only charges its current transport costs. The client can find out in advance about delivery times, delivery conditions and costs at: https://www.ctt.pt
4.2: The cost of postage is calculated according to the weight and size of the products, as well as the destination of the order.
4.3: The shipping costs are indicated in the shopping cart before final order validation and can also be selected in some cases, depending on the destination. 

 

5. Delivery


5.1: Orders will be shipped shortly after stock and payment confirmation and as soon as possible.
5.2: The delivery of orders will be made to the address indicated by the customer and according to the delivery times of the transport company. Home delivery cannot be made in PO boxes. Parcels can be delivered outside mainland Portugal, as long as the address is covered by the carrier's delivery area.
5.3: As the transportation service is contracted to a company, the possible delays in delivery cannot be solved by Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters, and it is not possible, in these cases, to guarantee exact delivery times.
5.4: If for any reason the customer cannot receive the order or pick it up at the location indicated by the carrier, the customer is asked to contact the Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters online store immediately via email <contact form see contact>.
5.5: All products sent by Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters must be checked immediately upon delivery. If the customer finds that the delivery is damaged, he must contact and immediately consult Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters by email (see also point 6.), <contact information see contact>. 
5.6: If, after delivery, the customer finds that one of the items does not correspond to his order, he is asked to contact Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters immediately by e-mail <contact form see contact>, indicating the order number or the number of the delivery note, so that the situation can be resolved as soon as possible.

  

6. Returns and Complaints

6.1: You have the right to return products purchased online within 14 days. However, as some products are food, Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters cannot authorise the return of food without prior consultation.
6.2: To organize a return, the customer is asked to contact Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters via email <contact form see contact> indicating the invoice number.
6.3: The return of defective products and wrong shipments is the responsibility of Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters, as well as shipping and collection costs when the customer reports this situation within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the product. Once the goods are received at our facilities and after validating their status accordingly, the agreed compensation will be proceeded. 
6.4: Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters is not responsible for the deficiencies resulting from the incorrect use, negligence and poor storage conditions by the customer.


 

7. Changes to the General Conditions

These General Online Sales Conditions can be changed without prior notice, and should therefore be consulted before placing any order.


 

8. Protection of Personal Data

8.1: The customer must expressly consent to the storage or updating of his/her contact details for inclusion in the files of Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters for the purposes of customer management, commercial relations and the sending of advertising about products and services, in accordance with the provisions of Law 6/99, Law 41/2004 and Directive 2002/58/EC, through automated processing and profiling, by any available means of communication, including electronic means.
8.2: The express consent must be made when registering in the online store, using the option indicated there for that purpose.
8.3: The contact details collected will be kept as long as the purpose for which the processing was consented to is fulfilled, or until the right to object, rectification and erasure is exercised.
8.4: The data subject has the right to obtain information free of charge about the stored data and to request its restriction, correction, objection or deletion if, among other legal grounds, the contact data is incorrect or no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
8.5: The data subject shall also have the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent.
8.6: If you exercise any of the above rights, we reserve the right to store the data solely for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending a right in legal proceedings.

8.8: Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters never transfers the contact details collected to third parties.


 

9. Declaration of Responsibility

Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters expressly declares and warrants that:

9.1: It treats the personal data it stores from its customers in the context of the provision of the Online Shop service in an appropriate manner; that they are subject to lawful and confidential, fair and transparent treatment and that these personal data are protected against destruction, accidental or unauthorised, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorised access;
9.2: Café Aroma - Lisbon Coffee Roasters is able to implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures in such a way that the processing of personal data complies with the requirements of the current Portuguese Personal Data Protection Act, adopted by Law No. 67/98 of 26 October 1998, and EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 27 April 2016 ("RGPD"), which entered into force on 25 May 2018;
9.3: Personal data are exclusively intended for the execution of the orders placed in the online shop and only the necessary, adequate, relevant and limited data are collected for this purpose;
9.4: Personal data are always kept correct and up to date;
9.5: The personal data stored will not be used for any other purposes than those described in these General Terms and Conditions;
9.6: At the customer's request, his/her personal data will be deleted immediately and permanently.
